April 2007. "In June 2005 I joined the gym overweight needing to address this, an offer of 3 PT (Personal Training) sessions was given to me. Natalie was assigned to me. I was nervous as I didn't really want someone watching me exercise, I felt uncomfortable and wanted to blend into the background. I decided to continue with personal training once a month, come December I was becoming slightly fitter although I had not lost much, Natalie addressed this and gave me an eating plan. I started this and within a month I had dropped 6kg by March 2006 I was down 12kg and for the first time a size 12. Natalie always managed to motivate me and keep me interested in the gym. In May 2006 I entered a race for life, I vowed never to run but somehow Natalie has got me hooked, I completed this in 33 minutes. Since then I have been having sessions twice a month and entered the 2007 10k Bay Run I hoped to complete in under an hour, I finished it in 59 minutes. I have tried kickboxing but my co-ordination is poor, watching the champ in action gives me the incentive not to get on the wrong side and this makes me try hard each time and continue the plans until the next training session. With all the training and on going support of Natalie I would probably have given up coming to the gym. Today I am still a size 12 but have had my ups and downs as a trip to USA didn't help but my plan is now to tone up and have that flat stomach I never had. With an eye on me from Natalie I'm sure to achieve this very soon." |
